OUTREACH AND EVANGELISM CLASSES

Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in sanctuary

Topics covering:
  • Key Scripture: Col 4:2-6 "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise, in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."
  • What is my fear about sharing?
  • Is it The Gospel according to Jesus Christ or The Gospel according to me?
  • Writing out my testimony
  • Writing church words into my words
  • 2 things to remember: 1. We share the Gospel & 2. God saves the people
  • You are already equipped to share; Discovering your way.
  • The best question: "How can I pray for you?"

 
COMMUNITY OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY:

 
- Our next Homeless mission will be in October and December. We will have more accurate dates later.


- We are actively engaging a local community inside of Hueytown. There are 120 homes we are praying for and asking God to show us HIS path for engaging them.

How can I help:
 
  • Prayer partner - We will be signing up families to be a dedicated prayer partner for each home.
  • Volunteer
    • we are asking people to do "DRIVE BY'S". As we drive that community, praying for each home you pass by...daily and weekly.
    • people willing to pick up and take home kids and families for church on Sunday's and Wednesday's
    • community prayer walking
